Step 1

We are going to create the mouth for the chicken, draw a box in a new layer with segments X=1, Y=1 and Z=0.

Step 2

Select the top of part either in points or polygons selection mode. Press H key to bring out the Stretch tool. Place your cursor at the middle of the object to drag the top part to form a shape as picture shown below.
